In File Explorer, highlight the files or folders you want to compress.

You can split large files into smaller, manageable parts (e.g., file.part1.rar, file.part2.rar) by setting a size in the "Split to volumes" field. BR.rar

In the "Archive name and parameters" window: Archive format: Ensure RAR is selected. Compression method: Choose 'Best' for the smallest size. Set Password: Click "Set password" to encrypt the archive. Create: Click "OK" to create the .rar file. 3. How to Open/Extract a RAR File (Windows) Right-Click: Right-click the .rar file. Extract Options: Extract Here: Extracts files to the current folder. In File Explorer, highlight the files or folders

If you cannot extract a file due to long names, try renaming the .rar file to something shorter or extracting directly to the root drive (e.g., C:). Compression method: Choose 'Best' for the smallest size

Right-click the selected items and choose "Add to archive...".
