Following the events of the pilot, Goku and Bulma continue their journey to find the Dragon Balls on Bulma's motorcycle. As night falls near Skull Valley, Goku assumes they will be sleeping outside or in a tent. Bulma pulls out a small "Dyno-Cap" capsule and creates an entire functional house. Having grown up completely isolated in the mountains, a terrified Goku attacks the house, believing it is a giant transforming monster. The Tail Discovery

During the bath, Bulma discovers that Goku’s monkey tail is not an accessory but a real, attached part of his body that he can fully control (using it to scrub his own back).
