Trucking Through 2026: What's New in Euro Truck Simulator 2 continues to dominate the simulation world in 2026, over a decade after its release. SCS Software keeps the engine running with constant updates, making it one of the most supported simulation games available. With an active player base often exceeding 40,000 concurrent users, the virtual roads of Europe are busier than ever.

Following their 10th anniversary in 2022, SCS continues to push the boundaries of what a driving simulator can do.

The 1.59 Update Open Beta (April 2026) brings significant improvements to the game, focusing heavily on the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg).
