Set in a dilapidated bus station in eastern Cuba, a group of travelers is stranded because every passing bus is full or broken. Instead of succumbing to despair, the characters fall into a shared sleep and begin to dream of a better reality. In this collective vision, they decide to stop waiting and start acting—transforming the terminal into a vibrant, restored community where they paint walls, fix furniture, and even find love. Why It’s "Interesting"

: When the characters wake up, they are faced with the choice of whether to let the beauty of their dream fade or carry that new spirit of cooperation into their waking lives. If you'd like to dive deeper, I can find: Critical reviews or award history for the film.

: Though a comedy, it subtly critiques the severe economic hardships and transportation crises of Cuba during the late 20th century.

My Paris Agenda 🇫🇷 This is one of my favorite pos My Paris Agenda 🇫🇷

This is one of my favorite posts to write because it explains the why behind my trips.

For the last few years, I have planned a January trip to Paris. After a busy fourth quarter, it is my time to reset. I go to think. To plan the year ahead. To set personal and professional goals. I start slowly and ease into the year.

For those who are new here, I thought this might answer a few questions about what my trips actually look like. How I plan my days. What I prioritize. Even how I budget for them.

Plus, a little preview of what is to come in 2026!

Curious what a trip to Paris looks like for me?
