While most of Part 6 focuses on a central mystery involving Sherlock Holmes, this episode is part of a series of guest-written standalone stories. This particular episode was written by Shigeru Murakoshi , though the following episode (Episode 10) was written by the legendary Mamoru Oshii ( Ghost in the Shell ).
