Zeokat has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Microsoft Powerpoint 2019 Vl | 16.45

As a "VL" version, 16.45 focused heavily on stability and security:

: This version is typically deployed via the Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) tool or distributed as a .pkg installer by IT administrators. Comparison: VL vs. Office 365

: Allows users to jump to specific slides or sections in any order while presenting, creating a non-linear narrative. Microsoft Powerpoint 2019 VL 16.45

: Full support for Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) with the ability to convert them into Office shapes for color and style editing.

: Addressed vulnerabilities identified in previous builds to protect against malicious code embedded in presentation files. As a "VL" version, 16

While version 16.45 shares the same build number as the Office 365 version released at the same time, the is "feature-locked." It includes only the features available at the launch of PowerPoint 2019, whereas Office 365 subscribers receive continuous feature updates that 2019 VL users do not. If you are looking for specific information, The macOS compatibility limits for 16.45? Differences between retail and volume licenses?

: Support for pressure-sensitive pens, tilt effects, and a digital "pencil" for sketching ideas directly on slides. : Full support for Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)

    This seems to work:
    #!/usr/bin/perl -w use strict; use LWP::UserAgent; my $ua = LWP::UserAgent->new; my $url = 'http://localhost/...'; $ua->default_headers->push_header(Range => "bytes=1000-2000"); my $response = $ua->get($url); my $content = $response->content(); warn length($content); warn $content;
    To get the current content length of the object, you can do a HEAD before and look at the content-length header.
      The code works verrrrrrry good eserte. Big thanks. But new question arrive to my head, are there any way to know if the server have the abbility of "Accept-Ranges: bytes" ?? Thanks in advance.
        Try fetching with HEAD instead of GET to view the Accept* headers without getting the content itself
