The creature design of the Gales. Low Point: Some of the contemporary dialogue still feels a bit jarring against the medieval backdrop, but the chemistry of the cast is winning me over. Episode Rating: 8/10

The journey to the Shattered Sea just got a whole lot bloodier. After the slow-burn buildup of the first two episodes, throws our motley crew into their first real gauntlet.

One of the most compelling arcs this episode is Willow Ufgood’s own insecurity. For a legendary sorcerer, he’s remarkably rusty. We see him struggling to guide Elora Danan, whose raw power is growing but remains dangerously unfocused. The dynamic between the "grumpy mentor" and the "reluctant savior" adds a layer of grounded emotion to the high-fantasy setting.
